    Start Here: General Web Resources

What do you know about The Great Depression?  How will you begin to choose a topic?

General web resources are a good place to start your research.  These resources provide an overview of the subject, and frequently contain links to more detailed web resources. Start here to explore, to learn more about World War II, and find possible topics.

Tip:  Look for subjects, people, ideas, controversites, and events that interest you.  What are you curious about?  What makes you want to read more?  What can you relate to your life or family history?

To Do:  Scroll, Click, Bookmark, Watch, Listen, Read.  Skim/read the overviews.  Follow the links to explore topics that interest you.  Read some more. Write down possible topics.  Revisit the site later to read slowly and take notes on your chosen topic.
